Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy describes the information handled when you visit VeckyGames, what the site stores in your browser, and what may be processed by hosting providers and embedded game providers.
1. Who is responsible
VeckyGames is operated by Yuri Taskaev, an individual based in Russia. The site does not currently provide a contact form. For privacy questions or requests, email omgnoob193@gmail.com.
2. Information stored in your browser
VeckyGames uses browser local storage for the language preference (veckygames-language), recently played game list (veckygames-recent-games), random browser identifiers for votes and anonymous site statistics, and your latest like or dislike choice for each game (veckygames-vote-{game}). When you vote, the site sends the game, your choice, and the random vote identifier to its server so the vote can be counted once per browser. For site statistics, it sends the analytics identifier and the page path; the server stores only a hash of the identifier. These identifiers are not linked to an account or real name.
You can remove these values through your browser’s site data or storage settings. Clearing them removes the local vote choice and identifiers, but does not delete a vote already stored on the server; a newly generated identifier may be treated as a new voter or browser.
A random analytics session identifier and its last activity time are saved in session storage. They help group page views in a browser tab. A new session is created on a later page load after 30 minutes without a recorded event. Browser storage may be unavailable or cleared, which reduces measurement accuracy.
3. Technical data and hosting
When a browser requests a web page, the hosting or content-delivery provider may process technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, time of request, browser type, and security or error logs. The production hosting provider, log fields, storage location, and retention period have not yet been confirmed.
4. Embedded games and third parties
Game pages can load content from third-party providers, including Y8. When an embedded game loads, the provider receives the connection and browser information needed to deliver it and may use cookies or similar technologies under its own policy. The provider may process data in other countries.
VeckyGames does not control those providers’ data practices. Review the privacy notice of each provider before using an embedded game.
5. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
VeckyGames uses first-party measurement for page views, browser identifiers, session sources and activity. The browser sends random identifiers to the server, which hashes them before storage. Session records contain the entry page, referring hostname without a URL path or query, source category, view count, active seconds and game-frame opening count. The analytics database does not store the visitor IP address or raw browser identifiers. Active time is an estimate collected after interaction while the tab is visible. A loaded frame does not prove that the visitor played or that the visitor is human.
This first-party tracker uses local storage and session storage, not cookies. Embedded games may use their own cookies, advertising or other storage under their providers’ policies. Our own Yandex Advertising Network code is not currently loaded; visible advertising placeholders do not request ads. Before our advertising is activated, this policy and any applicable consent controls must reflect the actual integration.
6. How information is used and shared
Random vote and analytics identifiers are sent over HTTPS and hashed on the server. We retain the latest vote per browser identifier and game, aggregate vote totals, and aggregate game opening counts. A separate identifier limits game openings counted for a browser and game to one per Moscow calendar day. Opening counts are not verified gameplay. Technical requests, including IP addresses needed to deliver pages, are also processed by the server and may be handled by the hosting provider. Data processed inside embedded games is controlled by their providers.
The website does not provide user accounts, a payment feature or a web contact form. When you email the operator, the operator receives the sender address and the contents you choose to send.
7. Retention and security
Browser identifiers and vote choices remain in your browser until you clear them. The latest vote for each browser and game remains on the server until it is changed or removed by the operator. For play counting, the server stores a hash of the separate play identifier and the most recent calendar day on which that browser ID was counted for each game; aggregate play counters are kept while the service operates. Site analytics stores a hashed browser identifier, date, and page path for up to 400 days; the daily aggregate statistics are also deleted after 400 days. Clearing browser storage may create a new identifier. Server log retention is set by the hosting provider. Third-party providers set their own retention periods. Session records and deduplication hashes for analytics events are retained for up to 400 days. Historical visits collected before October 26, 2026 have no session-source or engagement data.
The operator and hosting provider should use reasonable security measures, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and privacy rights
You can clear local storage in your browser and choose not to open embedded games. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights regarding personal data. Contact omgnoob193@gmail.com to submit a request or ask a question. The operator will review the request and respond as required by applicable law.
If you believe a third-party game provider processed your information, contact that provider directly using the contact details in its privacy notice.
9. Children’s privacy
The site does not ask visitors to provide their name, email address, date of birth, or account information, and it does not determine visitors’ ages. Embedded games are provided by third parties and may have their own age limits and privacy practices. A parent or guardian who has a privacy concern may contact omgnoob193@gmail.com.
10. Changes and contact
We update this policy when our service or measurement changes. The date above identifies the latest version. Contact the operator at omgnoob193@gmail.com with questions about this policy or data processing.
